Red Lentil Dhal

Red Lentil Dhal Healthy Recipe Vegan Cooking in Argentina

Ingredients:

The base:

  • Red Lentils
  • Water
  • Milk or Coconut Milk
  • Tomato Paste

The veggies:

  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Chives
  • Spinach
  • Tomato

The spices:

  • Tumeric
  • Paprika
  • Curry Powder
  • Cayenne
  • Coconut flakes
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions:

  1. Soak the lentils.
  2. Saute the onion and garlic.
  3. Cook the lentils with the coconut milk.
  4. Add the spices and the onions. Stir.
  5. When the lentils are soft add the tomato paste.
  6. Stir in the spinach and tomato and serve.

  1. Thanks for this recipe! I just got some red lentils at Coto and have been putting off cooking them bc I had to search for a recipe..but now I have no more excuses šŸ™‚ Any idea where to buy coconut milk or even coconut oil?
